Dennis McCallum

Tell Us What the Future Holds

Conrad Hilario
Isaiah 41:21-23

King Nebuchadnezzar has a disturbing prophetic dream which his diviners are unable to interpret. In his anger, he orders that all of the wise men in the kingdom be executed. Daniel, one of the wise men, after praying to God for help, receives the interpretation of the king's dream in a vision. The vision pertains to five world empires that would rise and fall throughout history: Babylon, Media-Persia, Greece, Rome, and an unknown fifth kingdom. God ultimately will overthrow all corrupt human kingdoms and set up his own kingdom of peace and justice on earth.\r\n

Scott Risley

Kingdom Come

Ryan Lowery
Daniel 11

The previous chapters of Daniel culminate to show how the fulfilled prophecy of the past give credit to the prophecy of future end times. Using different passages of the Bible, this teaching gives plausible evidence of the end times. As Christians we can be aware and learn what God predicts for the future from the Bible, while continuing to focus on the importance of loving in the midst of a culture that will be spinning out of control.

The Seventy Weeks

Ryan Lowery
Daniel 9:1-26

Daniel has been a captive of Babylon for many years, when one day while reading the book of Jeremiah he came across an exciting piece of information: the predicted end time of captivity was only a few years away. Immediately in response to this realization Daniel praised God. While Daniel was praying he received an incredible prophecy for the future messiah. Daniel 9 accurately predicts the coming of the Messiah 500 years before the event took place.

Jesus and the End of the World, Part 3

Scott Risley
Luke 21:25-36

Ritualism emphasizes the personal distance between people and God. Gary explores Paul's argument against ritualism within the framework of two main applications: 1) we should not be self-righteous; and 2) since relational closeness with God is possible, we should strive to cultivate a relational closeness with God.

Signs of the End of the Age (Part 2)

Conrad Hilario
Matthew 24:21-30

Jesus shares with his disciples some of the signs of the approaching ?end times.? We discover that many of the signs and circumstances that Jesus describes are coming to pass as we speak. We are called on to make a couple decisions about our lives: 1) In order to be saved, will we accept Jesus' gift of forgiveness? and 2) If we already know Jesus personally, do we believe He is coming back one day? If so, does our life reflect that belief?

The Great Tribulation

In the Olivet discourse, Jesus speaks with his disciples about what to expect at the end of time in a period referred to as "the great tribulation". He explains that this will be a time of chaos and intense suffering before Jesus comes back to judge the earth. We will discuss general preconditions for this time period and explore biblical prophecy surrounding this event.
