Our mission as Christians is the same as Jesus’--”to seek and save that which was lost.” This is primarily accomplished through the command of the Great Commission–to make disciples. While this may not always be a comfortable undertaking, it is greatly significant--pointing people to the answer to death and the reality of eternal life--and rewarding, as we experience God’s presence.

Garrison shares his research on movements for Christ–times when many from a particular people group come to faith–looking particularly among Muslims. He concludes that, like never before in history, diverse groups of Muslims are responding positively to the gospel.

Garrison gives ten points about how prayer is at the center of church planting movements, not because of prayer itself, but because of the God that it connects us to. Through prayer God changes our perspective on others and on His work, and works to align the world to God’s will.

We can use these tests and demonstrations to examine faith in Jesus and his claims. If we approach with an open mind, we will find belief in Jesus passes these tests and is a reasonable thing.
